Weekly Favorites 19/12/2016

As I'm leaving for the States tomorrow morning, I thought I would throw up one last weekly favorites from Rome for December and the year of 2016. It's definitely bittersweet to be leaving Rome at such a beautiful time of year. The holiday season is heavily celebrated and many people have at least one week off between Christmas and New Year's.  The shopping is fantastic, if you can handle the insane crowds, while the decorations and lights everywhere give the city such a festive and magical atmosphere. BUT nothing compares to Christmas at home with family and I am beyond excited to be home for a couple of weeks. Tonight feels like the night before Christmas and even if "packing" (aka perfectly distributing my weight between two bags with the careful precision of a space-management scientist) has take me 5 hours and counting, it's 100% worth it. Ci vediamo l'anno prossimo, Roma!
